Job description
We are looking for a highly driven and proactive individual to join our dynamic team as a Key Account Manager. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with some of the most exciting brands in the industry, helping to develop and implement strategies that will accelerate growth and profitability. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key clients, building strong, lasting relationships, and creating business opportunities that align with company objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of challenger brands, ensuring that all client relationships are aligned with business goals.
- Building and nurturing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Identifying and seizing new opportunities to expand market presence, driving revenue growth.
- Keeping a close eye on industry trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights and recommendations to the team.
- Leading negotiations for contracts and agreements, optimizing both profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborating with various teams within the organization to provide outstanding service to clients.
- Regularly preparing and presenting performance reports to senior management, detailing successes and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- For this role, C2-level proficiency in German is mandatory for consideration. Additionally, candidates must have prior experience working within the German market. Fluency in English at a C1 level is required, and knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on strategic thinking and problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
