Business Transformation & Execution Manager
Nijmegen, reference 2026-00818
Job description
As Business Transformation & Execution Manager, you will play a key role in translating strategic plans into concrete, executable projects. You will act as the bridge between the management team’s strategic direction and the operational teams responsible for implementation.
This is not a purely strategic or advisory role. You will be expected to take ownership, structure initiatives, align stakeholders and actively drive projects forward. You will work on complex, high-impact projects that improve efficiency, scalability and business performance across the organization.
Your goal is to help the company work smarter, not simply harder. A major focus will be on process optimization, automation and preparing the organization for a future in which technology, data and AI play an increasingly important role.
Your responsibilities will include:- Translating strategic objectives from the management team into clear project plans and executable initiatives.
- Leading and driving cross-functional projects from idea to implementation and embedding.
- Creating structure, momentum and clarity in projects that involve multiple departments, stakeholders or business entities.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Supporting large-scale business improvement projects, such as ERP implementation, automation initiatives or AI readiness programs.
- Working closely with operational leaders, internal project managers and senior stakeholders to align priorities and ensure progress.
- Challenging the management team where needed, while also being able to move forward with decisions once they have been made.
- Providing insight into progress, risks, dependencies and business impact.
- Helping relieve senior management and company owners from being too involved in day-to-day project execution.
- Ensuring that project outcomes are properly embedded and owned by the organization after implementation.
This role does not involve direct line management of operational teams. It is also not a traditional PMO or coordination-only position. You are expected to take ownership, make things happen and ensure that strategic priorities lead to measurable business improvement.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a socially intelligent, proactive and resilient professional who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset. You know how to bring structure to a fast-moving environment, but you are also pragmatic enough to work with what is already there.
You are comfortable operating in an informal, entrepreneurial culture where not everything is fully defined yet. You are able to ask critical questions, challenge senior stakeholders in a constructive way and recover quickly when ideas are adjusted or rejected. You know how to take up the right amount of space: visible and influential, without dominating the room.
We are looking for someone who brings:- A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in business execution, transformation, change management, operational excellence, project leadership or a similar role.
- Experience in a fast-growing, scaling or transforming organization.
- Experience in a private equity-backed or rapidly professionalizing scale-up environment.
- Strong change management and transition management skills.
- The ability to translate strategic vision into practical operational plans.
- A hands-on mentality and the willingness to execute parts of projects yourself.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
- A good understanding of how operational improvements affect commercial performance and the bottom line.
- Affinity with technology, automation, process optimization and AI-driven improvements.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- The maturity, resilience and social awareness to succeed in a close-knit, informal company culture.
Experience in a specific IT sector is not required. More important is your ability to navigate rapid growth, bring structure to complex change and successfully embed improvements in the organization.
Working conditions
For this full-time position, our client offers:- A gross annual salary between €70.000 and €80.000, depending on experience.
- Some flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
- The possibility of a personal year-end bonus, depending on profile and performance.
- 26 vacation days per year.
- A pension plan with a total contribution of 15%, split equally between employer and employee.
- Access to a personal development program, including coaching and other wellbeing-related resources.
- The opportunity to help shape a newly created role.
- A high-impact position close to senior decision-making.
- The chance to work on strategic projects that directly influence the future of the organization.
- An informal, open and entrepreneurial working environment.
A company car is not a standard part of the package, but mobility arrangements may be discussed depending on the candidate’s situation and the company’s evolving mobility policy.
Salary from: €70000,-
Salary to: €80000,-
