Job description
The Customer Service department is the key point of contact for customers, handling all operational sales and delivery-related inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.The team’s main task is to independently, but in accordance with the instructions of the Account Managers, organize all order and document flows in an effective and customer oriented manner. In addition, the team maintains excellent communication with customers, addressing their questions promptly and keeping both customers and Account Managers fully informed at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of a designated customer portfolio.
- Handle operational order acceptance and booking efficiently.
- Ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
- Proactively monitor the order process to guarantee timely delivery to customers.
- Identify potential supply risks and inform Account Managers in advance.
- Provide active input to Account Managers regarding sales prospects.
- Maintain intensive internal communication with Sales and Planning teams to ensure optimal delivery coordination.
Requirements
- HBO-level thinking and working knowledge, or MBO level with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a challenging, international B2B commercial environment.
- Fluent in German (C2) and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer orientation with a focus on delivering excellent service.
- Effective planning and organizational abilities.
- High level of initiative and proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborative and supportive teamwork skills.
This position requires candidates to be based in the Delft area.
