Are you a natural communicator who thrives in the heart of a logistics hub? In the fast-paced world of freight and fresh produce timing is everything. We are looking for a decisive Freight Forwarder to join a committed team. You won’t just be moving cargo from A to B; you will be the vital link between customers, carriers, and drivers, ensuring every shipment is handled with precision and care.

What your day-to-day will look like:Logistics is about more than just transport - it’s about strategy and relationships. Your daily impact includes:

• Coordinating Flow: Efficiently arranging transport for diverse shipments, ensuring they reach their destination on schedule.
• Building Partnerships: Maintaining close, professional contact with both international customers and the drivers on the road.
• Commercial Insight: Negotiating competitive rates and managing the necessary documentation with a sharp eye for detail.
• Proactive Management: Handling the administrative processing of files to keep smart logistics solutions running smoothly.

The role involves a combination of on-site work and occasional weekend shifts, with the schedule designed to provide flexibility while ensuring operational coverage. Working hours may vary depending on business needs and will be communicated in advance. Further details regarding the schedule, working patterns, and arrangements will be shared during the next stages of the process.

To be considered for this role, candidates must already be living in the Netherlands with valid work permit. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

• At least an MBO-4 or HBO education in logistics, customs, or similar.
• At least 2 years of experience as a forwarder, preferably in the AGF sector.
• Experience with Softpack is a plus.
• Spanish (C2), English C1), Dutch is merited.
• You are proactive, precise, and can work well both independently and in a team.
• Good communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude even in stressful situations.
