Job description

Our clients is a fast-growing international food trading company with four registered brands and strong market potential. To support the continued growth of the marketing team, they are looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Assistant with a strong passion for social media, branding, and design. This role will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and step in when support is needed — especially during time off or busy periods. The ideal candidate is a team player, loves storytelling through visuals, and feels comfortable working with different marketing tools and platforms.

You’ll provide support across various design and content tasks, helping to keep the brand consistent and engaging. This includes:

• Assisting with the creation of social media content, with a focus on TikTok and short-form videos.
• Supporting the design of marketing materials like packaging, product sheets, catalogues, and digital assets.
• Helping to manage content calendars, basic community engagement, and publishing posts.
• Participating in the preparation of trade shows and branded events.
• Supporting visual updates to labels, merchandise, and promotional materials.

Requirements

• A creative thinker who enjoys working on visual content and branding.
• 2 years of experience in design, communications, or marketing — or equivalent, such as a strong, relevant portfolio for those at the beginning of their career.
• Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
• Passionate about social media and up to date with digital trends.
• Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle different tasks.
• Fluent in English (French and/or Portuguese is a plus).
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
