Job description

Our client is looking for a highly capable and driven Operations & Finance Manager to lead the financial, treasury, and administrative activities across our European entities (Netherlands, UK, and Germany). This pivotal role ensures financial integrity, statutory compliance, effective treasury oversight, and smooth office operations, while acting as a vital link between the regional teams and our headquarters in Asia.
What will you do?
  • Lead statutory audits for the Netherlands and coordinate with external auditors and accounting firms.
  • Prepare and consolidate quarterly and annual financial statements for the Netherlands, UK, and Germany to report to HQ.
  • Ensure full compliance with local tax obligations, including VAT and corporate income tax filings, across all entities.
  • Oversee treasury functions such as cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and managing banking relationships.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls across purchasing, sales, HR, and logistics operations.
  • Supervise accounts receivable/payable, payroll, sales invoicing, and ERP processes across the European entities.
  • Manage transfer pricing documentation and supply pricing strategies for the UK and Germany.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the finance and administration team; provide backup support during team absences.
  • Conduct cost analyses and purchasing reviews to identify and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Manage office-related contracts, maintain a productive work environment, and oversee general administrative operations.
  • Collaborate with legal advisors on HR issues and commercial legal matters.
  • Travel quarterly to the UK and Germany to provide on-site support and ensure smooth operational execution.

Requirements

Who are you?
  • BA or MA degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in multinational or regional finance roles.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Korean, Dutch, or German is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU accounting standards and tax regulations. This is a must.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial consolidation processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willing to travel quarterly within Europe (UK & Germany)
  • You must live in Amsterdam region

Working conditions

  • This is a long term position
  • Our client offers an initial one-year employment contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance 
  • The salary is between EUR 6000,-- and EUR 7000,-- per month gross, based on full time (the salary is depending on work experience and education).

Their European headquarters is situated in Amsterdam, while the main corporate office is located in Asia. With a strong international presence through offices and distribution partners worldwide, the company is experiencing ongoing growth. As a result of this expansion, they are looking to strengthen their team with additional support.You will join the international team in Amsterdam and will managing a team of total 6 people.
