Part-time Business Developer | Ukrainian

Barneveld, reference 2026-00923

Job description

Our client is looking for an entrepreneurial Business Development professional to pioneer their entry into the Ukrainian market. The main objective of this role is to explore the market potential, establish a solid network, and build their used equipment business from scratch in the region. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter who thrives on ambiguity and enjoys the challenge of creating something new. You will have a significant impact by laying the foundation for their future success in Ukraine, turning initial inquiries and market research into a steady stream of business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  •  Actively exploring and analyzing the Ukrainian market to identify opportunities for used equipment.
  •  Building a strong network by calling potential customers, dealers, and local partners.
  •  Identifying and connecting with relevant online equipment platforms to increase their presence.
  •  Following up on inbound inquiries and managing the initial sales process.
  •  Developing and implementing strategies to unlock the market and establish a steady business flow.
  •  Handling initial negotiations, including discussions around contracts and payment terms.
  •  Working independently to build the business from the ground up with a hands-on approach.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and entrepreneurial individual with a true "hunter" mentality. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, make calls, and build relationships from scratch. You are eager to go, comfortable with a "trial and error" approach, and possess the seniority to work independently while remaining keen to handle the operational tasks required to open new doors. You are a self-starter who is motivated by the challenge of building a new market presence.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  •  Professional proficiency in Ukrainian (C2) and English (B2/C1).
  •  Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
  •  A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to start projects from scratch.
  •  Experience with setting up new partnerships or business activities is a strong plus.
  •  An existing network in Ukraine is beneficial.
  •  Knowledge of the heavy equipment industry is an advantage but not a strict requirement.
Please note that our client is not able to provide sponsorship for a work permit, and this position is not open to candidates requiring relocation.
