Job description
The Production Operator plays a key role in supporting daily production activities and facility operations. This position is responsible for executing printing and finishing processes, maintaining quality standards, assisting logistics operations, and performing basic maintenance and repair tasks to ensure a safe, efficient, and reliable work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Printing Operations- Perform screen printing and digital printing activities according to production requirements.
- Inspect printed products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Convert, weed, plot, and pack digitally printed rolls and emblems.
- Cut HTL sheets using a motion cutter as required.
- Support ink mixing and screen exposing operations when needed.
Quality Control- Assist with incoming goods inspections.
- Support quality control activities on printing lines.
- Identify and report quality issues to maintain production standards.
Logistics & Shipping Support- Assist the shipping department with packing, preparation, and dispatch activities as required.
- Ensure products are handled and packaged correctly for shipment.
Maintenance & Facility Support- Perform routine maintenance tasks on buildings, grounds, equipment, and installations.
- Carry out minor technical repairs to support operational continuity.
- Report and document maintenance activities accurately to ensure safety, compliance, and equipment reliability.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
Working Conditions- Hands-on role within a production and manufacturing environment.
- May involve standing for extended periods, lifting materials, and operating machinery and equipment.
Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on, motivated team player who thrives in a production environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. The ideal candidate combines technical aptitude with a positive attitude and a collaborative approach.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written. Dutch is pre.
- A strong technical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement practical, solution-oriented solutions.
- Familiarity with PMS and RAL color systems and confidence working with color specifications and matching standards.
- A careful, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy.
- The ability to maintain oversight of multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, flexible attitude and willingness to support different production, quality, and logistics activities as needed.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a friendly, approachable personality and a good sense of humor.
- A commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.
