Job description
Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background to lead complex equipment projects from concept through execution and final handover. In this role, you will manage multidisciplinary projects involving process equipment, manufacturing systems, utilities, and facility upgrades within regulated manufacturing environment.
You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing project planning, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification, and handover activities.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, risk registers, an progress reports.
- Coordinating internal stakeholders like engineering, operations, quality, validation teams, and external contractors.
- Managing supplier and contractor relationships.
- Leading contract negotiations, contract administration, and change management.
- Planning and executing Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Tests.
- Reviewing technical documentation, such as equipment specifications, design packages, and validation documentation.
- Identifying project risks and implementing strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, EHS, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of project management experience within pharma, biotechnology, medical device, or other GMP-regulated industries.
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and EMA guidelines is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, process systems, automation, and utilities.
- Proven experience managing equipment suppliers, contractors, and commercial contracts.
- Hands-on experience leading Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and risks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
Only candidates who already
reside in the Netherlands (within a realistic commuting distance to Breda) and hold a
valid work permit will be considered for this position.
