Job description

Is traveling in your blood? Do you have excellent interpersonal skills and a love for Iceland? Join our client's team as a Travel Specialist in their sales department for German-speaking customers. No prior knowledge of their destinations is necessary—they will provide you with a study trip to get to know one of these destinations thoroughly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sell tailor-made trips to Iceland via phone, email, and in-office consultations.
• Create customized travel offers and search for flights based on client conversations.
• Maintain contact with international partners and assist in developing new trips.
• Represent the company at trade fairs and information days.
• Ensure no two days are the same with varied and dynamic tasks.

Requirements

• HBO (higher vocational education in the Netherlands) working and thinking level.
• Passion for traveling and having travelled though as Iceland, New Zealand, Patagonia, Scandinavia.
• Fluent in German (preferably native), with good knowledge of Dutch and English.
• Customer-friendly, service-oriented attitude with strong social competence.
• Careful and detail-oriented with good administrative skills.
• Comfortable with figures.
• Experience in the travel industry is a plus but not required.

• Full-time position (39 hours per week).
