Job description
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager – Global Warehousing to join the supply chain department. This role is key in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with
GxP and Quality Management Systems, and standardizing global processes in warehousing and distribution. You will manage SOPs, training, and business continuity plans, working closely with stakeholders across regions to maintain quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Act as owner/editor of all Global Warehousing SOPs and Work Instructions (WIs), ensuring compliance with warehousing quality requirements.
- Participate in corporate audits of Warehousing & Distribution quality processes.
- Author and maintain the Warehouse Global Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and related Business Impact Analysis (BIA).
- Develop and maintain Global Warehousing training content, qualifications, and delivery strategies.
- Facilitate business process modeling workshops and document warehousing processes in flows and Quality Management System documents.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Distribution, Quality, and Warehouse Network stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or equivalent.
- 4+ years of supply chain/logistics experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge and experience with GxP and GMP standards.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, ERP and WMS systems (preferably SAP (E)WM).
- Strong skills in business process modeling, BPMN, and technical writing.
- Experience developing and implementing learning programs and working with LMS is a plus.
- Able to work autonomously and drive initiatives in a matrix organization.
- Fluency in English (oral and written) and proficiency in MS Office.
- SCOR-P certification is a plus.
Working conditions
- Hybrid position: minimum one day per week on-site; focused workspace required at home.
- 40-hour workweek.
- One-year contract through Undutchables.
