Job description
For our client, we are looking for an Account Manager (B2B retail) for the German market. Together with your colleagues from the sales team, you will continue to sell a large assortment of cool, practical and sustainable products to our Eastern neighbors. In this position, you are responsible for expanding the customer base and maintaining the current relationships. Your base location will in the Amsterdam office, they would like you to visit the customers as much as possible to strengthen the relationship and introduce the newest items. Responsibilities:
- Expanding the clientele of large retailers in Germany
- Calling and visiting new prospects but will also work actively with the current customers
- Maintaining and expanding the strong relationships that they already have and of course, you can get more out of it because of your knowledge and skills
- Following the latest developments within the German market and you like to think along with marketing on a strategic level
- Next to that, the company is represented at several fairs in Germany each year, so you will be able to generate more business from the fairs
Requirements
- You know how to find commercial opportunities, and with your strong drive plus a good dose of perseverance and guts, you grab them!
- You take every opportunity to generate revenue
- You can easily convince someone else, and your communication skills are therefore excellent. This is because you have already gained at least a few years of experience in a similar position, and you are able to convince them with your previously delivered work
- Business level German (C1/2) level and fluent in English
- And as you will work in our international team, you also speak English
- Logically you get along well with Excel and various systems
- Reaching Germany by foot is not that easy, so you have a driver's license
Working conditions
Full time position, working part time 32 hours is also an option.The company offers a challenging job in a dynamic work environment with a great daily lunch, good team spirit, and activities together like soccer, boot camp, and yoga.
