Job description
The Head of Sales is in charge of shaping, driving, and improving the overall commercial direction of the business. This position brings together strategic sales leadership with active sales involvement, people management, and building strong customer relationships across B2B, B2C, and retail channels. It comes with responsibility for revenue growth, commercial ownership, and decision making.
The Head of Sales works closely with the Chief Operating Officer and oversees the full sales department (including Team Leaders, Account Managers, and Sales Support). This role also partners with Buying, Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Marketing, and Design.
Main responsibilities:- Build and deliver the annual commercial plan
- Lead the account management and sales support teams
- Research market and client needs, study trends and competitors
- Handle quotations, proposals, negotiations, and client presentations
- Grow the client base through outreach and partnerships
- Create and run sales campaigns together with marketing
- Report sales outcomes and KPIs to senior leadership
- Guarantee correct and consistent use of CRM and sales tools
- Represent the company in trade fairs and events
Requirements
Requirements:- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a similar field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and commercial team leadership
- Strong ability to work independently and make senior level decisions
- Operates as a strategic partner to top management
- Solid knowledge of CRM tools and sales pipeline processes
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- Strong written and spoken English
- Proven background in international sales and trade fair participation
- Experience in building business models, pricing strategies, and long term plans
- Able to advise board level management and handle complex sales settings
