About the RoleWould you like your sales work to not only generate revenue, but also create real social added value? For an innovative healthcare scale-up, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to support care facilities in North Rhine-Westphalia and build new partnerships.In this role, you combine consulting, relationship management, and strategic sales. You work closely with care organizations, guide them from the initial idea to long-term collaboration, and actively contribute to improving work processes in daily care.
Your Tasks
  • Building new customer relationships in the healthcare and care sector, particularly by initiating and guiding pilot projects.
  • Advising executive management, facility directors, and other decision-makers as an equal partner.
  • Responsibility for the successful implementation of trial phases and converting them into long-term partnerships.
  • Sales team gatherings in the the Essen region
  • You will be reporting to the Team lead.
  • Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships, including scaling cooperation across multiple locations.
  • Regular on-site presence in care facilities (3 to 5 days per week) as well as close coordination with an international team.
  • Actively shaping sales processes and continuously developing your own skills through feedback and coaching.

Requirements

What You BringYou bring solid foundational experience in B2B sales and enjoy building relationships, establishing trust, and successfully guiding complex customer processes. You feel comfortable speaking with various stakeholders—from operational teams to executive management—and are able to adapt flexibly to different situations.You are curious, persistent, and want to do more than just sell; you want to offer real solutions that make a difference. Especially in the healthcare sector, you need tact, a good understanding of the industry's challenges, and the ability to communicate on equal footing.
  • Fluency in German (C2) and English (C1) is mandatory
  • You must currently live in the Essen area (including from Duisburg to Dortmund)
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a SaaS, start-up, or scale-up environment.
  • Strategic, fast paced, customer relationship management.
  • Confident demeanor, with creative innovative ideas for anyone from nursing staff to executive management.
  • Perseverance, self-initiative, and enthusiasm for complex sales processes with longer decision-making paths.
  • High level of empathy and interest in the healthcare sector, as well as the ability to recognize true customer needs.
  • Drivers license (own car is not required)
