Special edition - Candidate workshop
For some of us the process of finding a job can seem daunting. However, there are groups of people that deal with a lot more than just interview jitters. They are confronted with the misconception that they do not posses the knowledge or education level to apply for a job in need of certain qualifications.
Well, today the marketing team at Undutchables had the opportunity of presenting to a group of University educated refugees. Amongst them a scientist, accountant, law student and a medical professional. After setting up the meeting room with tea and treats and warmly welcoming our guests, we started with the presentation/ workshop.
Our marketing manager Kirsten Jansen- van den Broek touched on the most important points of applying for a job in the Netherlands. Such as creating a good cv, preparing for a job interview and presenting your motivation for the job in a clear and persuasive way. The guests spoke about their struggles with finding a suitable position with the Dutch labor market and we discussed the different options for them.
We really enjoyed hosting them and presenting about Undutchables and the Dutch labor market. It was great to see such a motivated group of young professionals looking forward to starting out their career in the Netherlands. We look forward to meeting more in the future!
